■~My Fondness for America in Days Gone By~
The American culture between the end of World War II and the beginning of the deplorable Vietnam War was incredibly powerful and vibrant.
Even today, many young people still aspire to go to America, and it's probably not just because America is a superpower.
They are likely dreaming of the bright, cheerful, and truly prosperous America of the 1950s.
Products with overly elaborate designs, and intricate bottles that looked more expensive than their contents.
It was an era when cars, motorcycles, and of course, fashion, were all meticulously crafted down to the smallest detail.

■~Fusion of Present and Past~
"The Flat Head" aims to fuse the best aspects of the present while inheriting the American taste of those good old days.
For example, with a single pair of jeans, the vertical fading evokes the 60s, while the sewing details such as the belt loop's lap seam and the narrow stitching on the back pockets are from the 50s. The hip yoke uses a number 6 thread, which is now considered difficult to work with.
Regarding the silhouette, the rise is 1 inch shallower than normal 1950s jeans, modified to suit modern Japanese people.
By fusing the present and the past, we constantly think about and practice manufacturing that creates new added value by wearing items for a long time, rather than considering them consumables, aiming for a situation where "50% is achieved when you purchase the product, 70% when you wear it, and 100% when you break it in."
