These jeans are made from 18oz denim fabric, woven with thick count yarn for the weft at high density.
The high-density woven, stiff fabric offers a tough feel, enjoying the weight and rigidity characteristic of heavy ounce denim.
Dyed in a deep indigo, these jeans promise a high-contrast fade unique to Flat Head as they age.
The heavy fabric doesn't flap around when worn, making them ideal for motorcycle riding.
The silhouette is a historic straight cut that has been loved since the brand's inception. Beyond the appeal of aging,
these are regular straight jeans that suppress unnecessary bulk when worn, offering a clean silhouette.
They feature a slightly shallow rise and a gentle taper.

The main sections are sewn with flat felled seams, but this is an extremely difficult task when using heavy ounce denim.
In addition to the fabric's thickness, overlapping and folding makes the layered parts even stiffer and thicker.
Flat felling this thickness carries a very high risk of thread breakage or misalignment of fabric layers, leading to sewing defects.
Especially the back yoke, with many parts and layers of fabric, precisely aligning the fabric for flat felling is
a difficult task even for skilled artisans, yet the beautifully flat felled yoke testifies to the high level of craftsmanship.

The center of the belt loops is formed by folding and sewing the fabric, creating a raised shape.
The stitches that sink into both sides of this raised part are resistant to fraying, reducing the risk of the belt loops
failing (fraying due to thread breakage). As the raised part rubs and fades, it creates
a distinctive aged appearance, making it a characteristic Flat Head detail.

Original metal parts are used to enhance the aging process and the overall feel of the jeans.
The original iron buttons, crafted to replicate the texture of vintage jeans, will gain luster and deepen in blackness with wear.
The original copper rivets with the brand name, hammered onto the pockets, will gradually darken and
develop a deep, dull metallic sheen characteristic of aged metal. The commitment to materials ensures that every part, along with the fabric, can be enjoyed for its aging transformation.

As a measure to strengthen the back pockets, the rivet positions are set lower than on typical jeans,
and by sewing just along the edge of the rivets, the thread sinks in, preventing thread breakage.

The patch is one of the parts that defines the look of jeans.
The cowhide leather patch can be enjoyed for the aging changes that appear with wear.
*Some indigo dye from the fabric may transfer due to washing, but please enjoy this as a characteristic of indigo dye.
