 [Original design by LOUIS DESIGN AND THE BENJAMIN] Original design T-shirt by LOUIS DESIGN AND BENJAMIN, who creates old American style hand-painted signs and antiques. This is the third collaborative design for a T-shirt, and the motif is an "antique sewing machine." It is finished in an old American style that LOUIS DESIGN AND BENJAMIN excels at, with the motif of a vintage sewing machine used in Flat Head's product manufacturing. Special "three-needle, one-off" stitching that prevents stretching at the neckline The neckline stitching technique is arguably the greatest feature of Flat Head T-shirts. Inspired by the stitching of actual vintage T-shirts, the uniquely improved "three-needle, one-off® stitching" uses thick 20-count cotton thread for the easily stretched neckline. Furthermore, by sewing with a total of three stitches, two on the rib and one on the body, we have utilized sewing technology and the properties of cotton to create a T-shirt with a neckline that resists stretching. The neckline will not stretch easily even after many years of wear, allowing you to enjoy your favorite design for a long time. Rare circular knitting machine still existing in Japan The fabric is knitted using a circular knitting machine from the 1960s, also known as a round-body knitting machine. Knitting machines from this era provide stable quality but are becoming rare, and there are only a handful of craftsmen who can maintain them. The THC series uses thick 14-count yarn fabric. To knit with such thick yarn, sturdy needles are required, and we use special needles imported from Germany to create a robust body. Retro-look faded rubber print By adopting a "faded rubber print" with a unique faded appearance, the retro atmosphere is accentuated.
