■WAREHOUSE Short Sleeve T-shirt Yusuke Hanai × WAREHOUSE Co. Lot 4601 THE SITTING BILLIKENMAN YHWH4601-TheSit [2026 Fall/Winter New Collection]

This is WAREHOUSE's standard body, knitted on an old-style low-gauge knitting machine, which is said to be "rarer than a loopwheeler."
Knitted with #12 uneven yarn to create unique shadows, this fabric is called a shadow border, and even though it is solid-colored,
it subtly shows horizontal unevenness. Instead of a modern, extremely low neckline, a piping is inserted into the ribbing to maintain strength,
allowing the neckline to loosen naturally over time with wear, creating a gentle V-neck effect.

Billiken was born in early 20th century America and was beloved by people as "a god who brings good luck."
In 1909, the song "BILLIKEN MAN" was released, and in 1915, at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition,
a "Standing Billiken" appeared, differing from the previous sitting pose.
WAREHOUSE focused on the history and cultural background of Billiken in America over 100 years ago.
Yusuke Hanai depicted "BILLIKEN MAN" with his unique humorous and warm touch, while retaining the characteristics of Billiken from that era.
Whether "SITTING" or "STANDING," BILLIKEN is always a being that "guides things to their rightful place."

His cynical style, which combines Japanese aesthetics with retro American illustration, has gained support across borders, and his works have been exhibited in many countries. To date, he has provided artwork for VANS, Gregory, BEAMS, and others, expanding his activities both in Japan and internationally.
