When you pick up this sweatshirt, the first thing you'll notice is its "heaviness."
This newly developed sweatshirt is the result of repeated trial and error to reproduce the 1960s RW type.
This innovative athletic sweatshirt, with its fabric laid horizontally to reduce shrinkage, often draws attention to details like the side panels, but its key characteristic lies in the "yarn."
The densely knitted fabric is hard yet elastic, heavy yet softly fluffy.
What Warehouse is particular about is the "grain" of the fabric.
For regular sweatshirts, "the fabric's grain stands out" means "vertical lines," but for this RW model, it's "horizontal lines."
To make the grain stand out, we repeatedly changed the combination of yarn count and density.
What we finally arrived at was "doubling," which is rare for a sweatshirt.
Normally, one thread each is combined and knitted for the front, middle, and back, but by doubling, it became easier to achieve a dense knit.
Furthermore, thanks to the characteristics of the loopwheel knitting machine, we were able to make the fabric hard while maintaining its elasticity, and make the surface grain stand out.
Black, Navy, and Bordeaux have cracked prints, while Heather Grey and Oatmeal have discharge prints.
