This is Warehouse's standard body, woven on an old-fashioned low-gauge knitting machine, which is said to be "rarer than a loopwheel knitting machine."
Woven with No. 12 uneven yarn to create a unique play of light and shadow, this fabric is called shadow border, and although it is solid in color,
a subtle horizontal unevenness emerges. Instead of a modern, extremely dropped neckline, piping is inserted into the ribbed collar to maintain strength, while the neckline gradually loosens with wear, creating a natural front drop.
