This is Warehouse's classic body, knitted on an old-fashioned low-gauge knitting machine, said to be "rarer than a loopwheeler."
This fabric, woven with #12 uneven yarn to create a unique play of light and shadow, is called "shadow border." While seemingly solid, it subtly reveals horizontal uneven lines.
Instead of a modern, excessively low neckline, a piping is inserted into the ribbed collar to maintain strength. As you wear it, the neckline will relax, creating a natural, subtle drop.
It features a stencil print of the U.S. Army Medical Department.
