This is Warehouse's standard body, knitted on an old-fashioned low-gauge knitting machine, said to be "rarer than loopwheel knitting machines."
Knitted with #12 slub yarn to create a unique shading, this fabric is called "shadow border," and despite being plain,
it subtly reveals horizontal unevenness.
Instead of a modern neckline that dips excessively low in the front, piping is sewn into the ribbing
to maintain strength, allowing the neckline to gradually loosen with wear, creating a natural front-dip.
The print is a stencil type, featuring a military design inspired by Fort Jackson and the 8th Infantry Division stationed there.
