This is a standard loopwheeled sweatshirt that has not changed its specifications for over 20 years. The detail of coarse overlock threads visible between the two stitches is usually only seen in vintage items, but we achieved it by improving our sewing machines. The brushed lining, once called cotton fleece lined, is also recreated by brushing the fabric while it is still tubular. We use the most suitable loopwheel knitting machines to reproduce the texture of vintage clothing. For gray and oatmeal, the connecting thread count 40 and the backing thread count 8 are organic brown cotton, resulting in a strong reddish hue. The thread count is set to emphasize the warp grain. Fabrics knitted on a loopwheel knitting machine fall downwards as they are knitted, so there is no tension when rolled up, allowing the fabric to be knitted with air inclusions. Therefore, the fabric itself shrinks significantly with washing and drying, but it possesses a unique soft texture that wraps around the skin, which cannot be achieved with other knitting machines. 【403 Set-in Freedom】 The neck area features overlock threads on both the front and back to allow the threads to withstand the fabric's stretch. This not only reinforces the neck area, which is most prone to thread breakage, but also, with wear, the contrast between the main fabric and the thread's color fading becomes more pronounced. Furthermore, extra-thick threads are used for the neck area. Tubular cuffs and tubular waist rib: Like the main fabric, the sleeves and waist rib are tubular knit, each knitted by a knitting machine of a specific size. Because color matching is required, this process involves more than double the effort compared to cutting open tubular SWEAT fabric. Two-needle specification based on American inch sizes. The wide stitch pitch and the relatively coarse overlock threads visible from the inside are details only found in vintage SWEATs. "Set-in Freedom" refers to shoulders that are set-in with freedom sleeves from the armpit, which enhances arm mobility. ※The following shrinkage will occur after washing.
