This short-sleeved sports shirt combines the casualness of an open collar popular in the 1950s with the ruggedness of a work shirt. The base model is a short-sleeved shirt manufactured by Hercules, a private brand of Sears Roebuck from the 50s. While short-sleeved shirts are usually made with thin fabric, this one is intentionally made with a firm, resilient fabric using a power loom. This gives it a unique crispness not found in rayon materials.
