■ROCKY MOUNTAIN FEATHERBED Nylon Christie Down Vest
![]() Model Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, wearing size 38 Rocky Mountain Featherbed down vests were born in the 1960s in Wyoming, USA, inspired by Native American capes. Boasting warmth and heat retention like a duvet (FEATHERED), they gained overwhelming support, but the brand disappeared in the late 1980s. In the vintage market, they began to fetch high prices among enthusiasts. After thoroughly researching this legendary brand, the revived Rocky Mountain Featherbed was born with a level of perfection that surpassed the original. This Christie Vest is a model that adds a sheepskin collar to the classic nylon Christie down vest. The buttons are pearl buttons, similar to those found on Western shirts. The coloring and specifications introduced here are a special order from WAREHOUSE. The outer and lining fabrics are made of custom-ordered 70-denier nylon, pursuing comfort and durability. European white duck down, considered the highest quality down, is washed and water-repellent processed in Japan. This prevents the down's weakness of losing its warmth when wet. The fill power, which indicates the warmth of the down, boasts a top-level 700 fill power. The distinctive shoulder yoke is made of a single piece of horsehide. We intentionally choose and use materials that have natural scratches and irregularities inherent to the leather. Reliable Made in Japan. This is an item you'll want to wear for a long time and enjoy the aging of the leather! The leather shoulder yoke intentionally retains the natural scratches and color variations of the material itself. Please understand this as a characteristic of the product. Weight: 610g ![]() A brand born in the town of Jackson, Wyoming, USA in the late 1960s. It boasts overwhelming popularity in the vintage market as a brand of cold-weather wear for cowboys. This brand, which disappeared in the 80s, was traded at premium prices among fans, but was revived in 2005. ![]() Since its establishment in 1995, WAREHOUSE has pursued the theme of "faithful reproduction of vintage clothing," never being swayed by the trends of the fashion industry. They thoroughly research a piece of vintage clothing they encounter, considering the background of the era in which it was produced, from every thread to the fabric, sewing, and washing process. ![]() ![]() Black ![]() ![]() ![]() Camel ![]() CLASSIC TAFETTA This is a custom-made 70D nylon taffeta used to create the brand's iconic down vest. Currently, commercially available nylon taffeta usually has 210 threads per inch and is acrylic-coated on the back to seal the fabric weave for waterproofing, but it has almost no breathability. CLASSIC TAFFETA is a high-density taffeta with over 50 more threads per inch, and instead of coating, it undergoes a cire finish, which ensures breathability while achieving equivalent waterproofing. LEATHER The leather is a combination of tannin and chrome tanning. By using dye-based dyeing, the natural texture inherent to the leather is preserved. DOWN The down used is European white duck down. The blend ratio is 90% down and 10% feather, with 10% feather intentionally added to create loft. To maintain high quality, the down is washed and water-repellent processed in Japan. BUTTON The Christie vest features pearl buttons, familiar from Western shirts, to create a dressier impression.
