Records show the manufacturer as "Cornelius Weiss Co, Brooklyn, NY." The stencil on the back of Pattern B is that of the USS Sunfish (SS-281), which was launched in 1942. After being decommissioned on December 26, 1945, at Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, California, it served as a naval reserve training vessel in Vallejo, California, from April 1949 until 1960.
