Chromexcel leather from Horween, an established American tannery,
is characterized by its traditional manufacturing process of chrome and vegetable tanning, and its rich oil content,
making it supple and quick to break in.
While it's prone to minor scratches, these quickly become unnoticeable with a leather brush or application of oil.
Another appealing feature is that only the surface is dyed, a method known as "hill dyeing," so the natural brown core becomes visible with use.

Despite its simple design, this key holder is sturdily made,
