    Developed by Horween Leather Company in Chicago, USA, this is an oiled leather. This tannery, with over 100 years of history, is also famous for supplying cordovan to brands like Alden. During the hide tanning process, a special blend of oils, including beef tallow, beeswax, and fish oil, is slowly and thoroughly permeated into the leather over time. Due to its high oil content, it has a deeply luxurious appearance and a rich, moist feel to the touch. Pull-up leather, which changes in impression as the color brightens when stretched, contains more oil within the leather fibers than regular oiled leather, and is characterized by its surface brightening when bent or folded.
