Oahu Garment, a U.S. military contractor like Union Supply Co., replicated a palaka fabric hat using the same pattern that was adopted by the U.S. Army, and provided to Japanese immigrants working on farms. ・Material: Cotton ・Country of Origin: Japan ・Sizes: M/inner circumference 57.5cm L/inner circumference 59.5cm ・Brim length: 5.5cm ・Height: Approx. 16cm ・Weight: 70g Complete Series of the Reproduction "OAHU GARMENT" Oahu Garment was founded in 1924. Located on North King Street, where workwear brands such as Union Supply Co. and Sailor Moku Products were gathered, the company focused on overalls and denim sailor pants in addition to palaka jackets. It is one of Hawaii's oldest manufacturers, having produced workwear, which could be called armor for plantation workers, since its establishment.  Sun Surf is a Hawaiian shirt specialty brand by Toyo Enterprises. All Sun Surf Hawaiian shirts are replicas of actual vintage designs, reproduced with the same texture and feel as the originals. This craftsmanship is only possible with their vast in-house collection and expertise that no other company can imitate. It's a brand we can widely recommend, from collectors to those wearing a Hawaiian shirt for the first time.
