It all started in 1997 with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe. The name UES comes from "waste," meaning scraps or garbage. In Japan, since ancient times, rags (reused old clothes) used to clean machinery in ironworks and repair shops have been called "ues." We create our products with the hope that they will be used until the very end (becoming ues), rather than languishing in a closet before fulfilling their purpose.
