UES's original work cap was commercialized in 2005, and since then its silhouette and details have been changed, making it a standard product under model number "82W." It is a long-lasting product that has been supported consistently for over 10 years. Its shallow fit makes it look stylish. As a hat, it is the most popular shape after the baseball cap, and it is perfect for accenting your outfit. The voluminous brim is a little shorter, and the core material uses a special shape-retaining material. It has a firm yet soft texture, like cork, and a restoring force that allows it to return to its original shape even if bent. The back has eyelet holes for ventilation and a loop for hanging. The loop is a detail designed for hanging the cap from a hook on your waist or elsewhere when you take it off while riding a motorcycle or similar. The fabric used is a domestic material woven on a power loom, known for its excellent fading properties. Power looms can weave fabric without excessively pulling the threads, resulting in a fluffy, bulky fabric. A dot pattern is printed on the indigo x indigo plain weave fabric using a technique called discharge printing. The indigo's fading and the extra-processed print pattern create a unique aged look. ※This product will be delivered unwashed. In Japan, rags (reused old clothes) for cleaning machinery in ironworks and maintenance shops have long been called "ues." We create products with the wish that they will be used until the very end (becoming ues), without languishing in closets before fulfilling their purpose.
