The yarn that determines the texture of the fabric surface is the same yarn used in our popular slub-nep T-shirts. Since it is knitted on a rare loop-wheeling machine, it results in a thick, soft, yet firm and richly textured fabric. Slub-nep yarn is also used for the ribbing, creating a texture that matches the body fabric. The machine used for knitting is a loop-wheeling machine, which is said to "knit air." Because the yarn is knitted slowly without applying excessive stress, the amount produced per day is very small, and the machines themselves are rare, making this a very valuable product. The classic UES logo is expressed with soak print and discharge print. Weight: 670g  UES started in 1997 with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe. The name UES comes from "waste," meaning scraps or garbage. In Japan, since ancient times, rags used to clean machines in ironworks and maintenance factories (recycled old clothes) have been called "ues."
