＜UES Print T-shirt: 5 Main Features＞

1. Excellent compatibility between fabric and print

The jersey fabric, made from 16-count single yarn, has large jersey stitches, making rubber prints prone to cracking along the weave.
In the case of discharge prints, the pigment blends well with the fabric, and the peeling of the print is just right.

2. Strong fabric elasticity prevents shape distortion even after repeated washing

By using UES's original yarn, a blend of Desi cotton and organic cotton,
we were able to create a highly elastic fabric that leverages the characteristics of Desi cotton.
Desi cotton, with its thick and short fibers, is difficult to spin on its own. This problem is solved by blending it with organic cotton.
The excellent elasticity and tenacity of Desi cotton, which is even used as a cushioning material, are evident in the product.

3. Original slim-fit silhouette

The tight and short pattern is designed to conform comfortably to the body with repeated wear and washing.
The finished product undergoes commercial tumble drying, reaching its most shrunken state.
Knit fabrics have the characteristic that if the length (body length) is stretched, the width (body width) narrows, and conversely, if the width (body width) is stretched, the length (body length) shortens.
If it feels tight, stretch the fabric to lengthen it and wear it so it conforms to your body.

4. Vintage feel from product dyeing using traditional dyes

Product dyeing is carried out using direct dyes and reactive dyes, which have relatively weak colorfastness.
We deliberately use dyes that fade, considering their compatibility with fading denim.
Product dyeing allows for various shades to be dyed.
Furthermore, bio-processing after dyeing is applied to express even greater depth in the color and texture of the fabric.

5. Binder neck

The ribbing around the neck is attached with a triple-fold binder specification.
While T-shirts often wear out when the neckline stretches, UES T-shirts ensure durability by using thick ribbing with a
25mm wide binder neck specification.

The brand started in 1997 with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe. The name UES comes from "waste," meaning scraps or garbage. In Japan, used clothes recycled into cleaning cloths for removing machine oil in ironworks and maintenance factories have traditionally been called "UES." We create products with the hope that they will be used until the very end (becoming UES), rather than languishing in closets before fulfilling their purpose.
