＜UES printed T-shirts have five main features＞

1. Good compatibility between fabric and print

The single 16-count jersey fabric has a large knit, making rubber prints prone to cracking along the weave.
Even with discharge prints, the pigment blends well into the fabric, and the peeling of the print is just right.

2. Strong fabric elasticity that resists losing shape even after repeated washing

By using UES original yarn, a blend of desi cotton and organic cotton,
we were able to create a highly elastic fabric that leverages the characteristics of desi cotton.
Desi cotton, with its thick and short fibers, is difficult to spin on its own. This problem is solved by blending it with organic cotton.
The excellent elasticity and tenacity of desi cotton, so much so that it is used as cushioning material, are evident in the product.

3. Slim-fit original silhouette

The tight and short pattern is designed to conform to the body over repeated wear and washing.
The finished product is put through an industrial tumble dryer and is in its most shrunk state.
Knit fabric has the characteristic that if you pull it vertically (length), it becomes narrower horizontally (width), and conversely, if you pull it horizontally (width), it becomes shorter vertically (length).
Areas that feel tight can be stretched by pulling the fabric to make it conform to your body.

4. Vintage feel from product dyeing using traditional dyes

Product dyeing is done using direct dyes and reactive dyes, which have relatively weak colorfastness.
We deliberately use dyes that fade, considering their compatibility with fading denim.
Product dyeing allows for a wide range of shades.
In addition, bio-processing is applied after dyeing to express even more depth in the fabric's color and texture.

5. Binder neck

The ribbing around the neck is attached using a three-fold binder specification.
T-shirts often wear out around the neck, but UES T-shirts ensure durability by using a thick rib with a
25mm wide binder neck specification.

It all started with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe in 1997. The name UES comes from "waste," meaning scrap or garbage. In Japan, since ancient times, rags (reused old clothes) used to clean machinery in ironworks and repair shops have been called "ues." We create our products with the hope that they will be utilized until the very end (becoming rags) without sleeping in a closet before fulfilling their purpose.
