■ UES Ues War Model Straight Jeans 14.9oz Brown Cotton Denim 400-WW
 5-pocket denim reproduced with craftsmanship from a bygone era. The fabric used is UES original 14.9oz brown cotton denim. The custom-ordered yarn, blended with brown cotton during spinning, is rope-dyed to a deeper, more substantial color compared to regular yarn. This original softly twisted yarn is woven slowly on old-fashioned power looms, allowing us to create a fabric renowned for its fading properties. In terms of sewing, we strive to use as much fading cotton thread as possible to match the fading of the fabric. Cotton thread offers a natural aging process without the unpleasant sheen of nylon spun thread. The thickness and color of the thread are also varied depending on the sewing location. The fabric is folded to create a raised effect between the double stitches of the belt loops and pocket openings. This way, the stitches are protected by the raised fabric, making them less prone to breakage. UES jeans are designed for you to enjoy the fading process from the very beginning, without any stone washing or other treatments. The changing appearance unique to each wearer is the true charm of denim. Please cultivate your UES jeans with affection until they become your "ues" (rags). To enjoy the cultivation process, it's important to first choose a silhouette you like. While tapered silhouettes remain popular, UES's new denim is a classic straight type. With all yellow stitching and the use of selvedge satin scraps for the pocket bags, the design is inspired by wartime models. The fabric is our standard 14.9oz denim. The soft texture of Zimbabwean cotton, combined with the relaxed silhouette, provides comfortable wear.  UES began in 1997 with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe. The name UES comes from "waste," meaning scrap or garbage. In Japan, the rags (reused old clothes) used to wipe off grease in ironworks and repair shops have long been called "ues." We create our products with the hope that they will be used until their very end (becoming "ues"), rather than lying dormant in a closet before fulfilling their purpose.
