 ＜Model: Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, Wearing 30 inches＞ 5-pocket denim recreated with the craftsmanship of an old era. The fabric used is UES original 14.9oz brown cotton denim. The custom-ordered yarn, blended with brown cotton during spinning, when rope-dyed, results in a deeper, richer color compared to regular yarn. This original low-twist yarn is then woven slowly on an old-fashioned power loom, allowing us to create a fabric renowned for its fading properties. For the stitching, we strive to use cotton yarn that fades along with the fabric. Cotton thread does not have the unpleasant luster of nylon spun thread and ages naturally. The thickness and color of the thread are also changed depending on the sewing location. The fabric is folded to create a raised effect between the double stitches on the belt loops and pocket openings. This protects the stitches on the raised fabric, making them less prone to breaking. UES jeans are designed for you to enjoy the fading process from the start, without any stone washing or other treatments. The changing expression depending on the wearer is the true charm of denim. We hope you will cherish them and nurture them until they become "UES" (rags). To enjoy the nurturing process, it's important to first choose a silhouette you like. The 400T Tapered Leg features a slightly deep rise and relatively relaxed thighs, tapering down towards the hem. Because of the deep rise, the back pockets are set to be long and large for balance. The narrow hem makes them compatible with sneakers and a silhouette that is easy to match with jacket styles. Recommended for those who seek a modern silhouette. Weight: 800g  UES started in 1997 with an antenna shop opening in Kobe. The name UES comes from "waste", meaning scraps or trash. In Japan, rags (reused old clothes) used to clean machinery in ironworks and maintenance factories have long been called "ues". We make our products with the hope that they will be used until the very end (becoming ues), without sleeping in closets before fulfilling their purpose.
