We developed a 1st type G-jean using the same fabric as the new 17oz denim 400-Z so that it can be worn as a set-up.
The selvedge, a sign of vintage denim, is luxuriously used on the front facing, waistband, and cuffs.
The fabric used is unfinished loomstate, which has not been treated for shrinkage. Therefore, the one-washed products may have
slight twisting in the body and sleeves, but this is intentional. Because the fabric is not anti-shrink treated,
the natural softness of the threads (material) and the bulkiness of the fabric are nicely reflected in the product's appearance.

It all started in 1997 with the opening of an antenna shop in Kobe. The name UES comes from waste, meaning scraps, garbage, or discarded items. In Japan, since ancient times, rags used to clean machinery in ironworks and maintenance factories (recycled old clothes) have been called "ues." We create products with the hope that they will be used until the very end (becoming ues) rather than sleeping in a closet before fulfilling their purpose.
