■Tailor Toyo Tiger Camouflage Tour Jacket "7th COMM" tt15981

This piece was custom-ordered by a US soldier, mimicking a denim jacket and using navy tiger camouflage fabric.
The patch sewn on the left arm is the unit insignia of the 7th Communications Battalion of the United States Marine Corps, which was stationed in Vietnam from 1966 to 1969.
The label was newly created, inspired by Vietnam in the 1960s.
Tiger pattern camouflage is extremely rare even in vintage items and is highly regarded.

VIETNAM JACKET

Similar to Sukajan (souvenir jackets) which originated in post-war Japan, souvenir jackets born during the Vietnam War from the 1960s to 1970s are commonly known as "Vietjan."
Mainly two types of fabric were used: cotton twill or camouflage poncho liner, and designs were embroidered with thick, matte colored threads.
