This season's two Special Edition models are both based on Sukajan jackets produced in the late 1940s, the dawn of the souvenir jacket era.
One is a complete reproduction model that replicates vintage embroidery and color schemes on both sides,
the other is an original model that adds Tailor Toyo's unique arrangement to a vintage design.

This model features Tailor Toyo's unique arrangement, with a roaring white tiger on a solid black body on the front.
The vintage original had a colorful scheme, but this version is finished in monochrome. The embroidery primarily uses white thread,
but by varying the direction of the stitches in places, the muscular physique of the tiger is expressed. Gray and black accents are also added to emphasize the three-dimensional effect.
The bamboo leaves and rocks at the bottom appear to be the same color as the tiger at first glance, but they are actually different shades, featuring a luxurious embroidery that uses a total of seven different colored threads.

In contrast, the reversible side features a Japan Map pattern. On a purple-gray body inspired by the attractive faded colors of vintage items,
the map of Japan and a dragon are embroidered in solid black. While the vintage original was multi-colored, the three-dimensional effect of the free-hand embroidery ensures that the power of the design is not lost even in a single color.
By placing it on a "reverse color scheme" body where the black of the underarm sleeves is darker than the gray of the body, an elegant finish is achieved. In the 1940s, Sukajan jackets with different color schemes were also produced with the same embroidery pattern,
resulting in a special piece that combines the charm of vintage embroidery with the appeal of original color schemes.

＜KOSHO CO. SPECIAL EDITION＞
This Special Edition meticulously reproduces details from the most carefully selected masterpieces from Tailor Toyo's collection.
Not only are the designs elaborately drawn with free-hand embroidery, but the weave density of the acetate fabric is adjusted to be on par with vintage items,
and the wool ribs are knitted one by one using an old-fashioned flat knitting machine. For the reversible zipper, a fastening machine from over 50 years ago was restarted
to reproduce the hand-bent zippers of that era. Using the label of Kosho Co., Tailor Toyo's predecessor,
the finish evokes the golden age of vintage Sukajan jackets.
