This piece from the mid-1950s, nicknamed "Tiger Head," is highly popular. Among the many "Tiger Head" designs, this particular work stands out for its artistry. The tiger's cheek fur and mane are depicted using many undulating curves. Expressing curves through embroidery in this way requires advanced techniques and painterly expressiveness, indicating it was crafted by a skilled artisan.

The reversible side features a design called "Chevy Lover," a custom order by a car-loving American soldier. "Chevy" is a nickname for Chevrolet. This hot rod souvenir jacket features embroidery reflecting American custom car culture of the time. The aging process gives the matte green satin fabric a subdued luster, further highlighting the vibrant contrast of the embroidery.
