 ＜Model: 175cm tall, 62kg weight, wearing XL size＞ To commemorate Toyo Enterprise's 60th anniversary, we have recreated a souvenir jacket featuring stenciling, which is considered ultra-rare in vintage pieces. At the time, cushion covers adorned with horizontal embroidery, similar to Sukajan jackets, were also popular souvenirs among American soldiers. As a variation of these, items combining embroidery and stenciling existed. However, jackets tailored with this combination are extremely rare, making this truly a special piece. The embroidery features a design from the mid-1950s called "Tiger Head," with blue stenciling sprayed around the white tiger's face, creating a powerful effect as if emerging from the black velveteen. The undulating mane is meticulously depicted strand by strand, with repeated changes in needle stitches, and the bloodshot eyes are emphasized with red embroidery thread. The reversible side features a "reverse color scheme" where the color of the sleeves is darker than the body. On the vibrant green body, a majestic eagle with outstretched wings is depicted, along with a splendidly branched pine tree. This expresses the Japanese aesthetic of appreciating powerful tree forms, reminiscent of bonsai. This is a breathtaking masterpiece that, both then and now, could only be created through the exceptional skill of artisans. ＜KOSHO CO. SPECIAL EDITION＞ This special edition meticulously reproduces carefully selected masterpieces from Tailor Toyo's collection, paying close attention to every detail. In addition to the intricate designs created with horizontal embroidery, the acetate fabric's weave density is adjusted to be indistinguishable from vintage pieces, and the wool ribs are individually knitted using old-fashioned flat knitting machines. For the reversible zipper, fastening machines from over 50 years ago were reactivated to reproduce the same hand-bent zippers as they were made back then. Using the label of KOSHO & CO., the predecessor of Tailor Toyo, the finish evokes the golden age of vintage Sukajan jackets.
