 Model: Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, wearing size L This piece is made from rare brown velveteen fabric, even for vintage items. The white dragon, with its long body appearing and disappearing through the clouds, reproduces a vintage design from the mid-1950s. The dragon, with its flowing mane, soaring through the sky, is intricately embroidered with white-based threads, and partial use of other colors like yellow for the outline and red for the tongue adds impact. The reversible side features a black eagle design on blue acetate, reminiscent of a clear sky. By limiting the number of colored threads used, the eagle's outstretched wings are depicted solely through stitching. In contrast to the densely embroidered eagle, the use of the fabric's color to create delicate lines for the pine branches and the balance of negative space make this a highly artistic piece, similar to Japanese paintings. ＜VELVETEEN SOUVENIR JACKET＞ Early souvenir jackets often featured reversible acetate fabric, but as a variation from that era, models made with napped velveteen fabric also existed. Padding was added to enhance warmth, and the reversible acetate side was quilted to hold the padding in place.
