 Model: Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, wearing size L This is commonly known as the "Alaska Jacket," featuring motifs from Alaska. While the lightning and polar bear pattern is famous, this pattern of drift ice and polar bears also reproduces an existing vintage design. It can be said to be a super rare item among the already rare Alaska jackets. Depicted together is the aurora, which can only be seen in extremely cold regions. The sleeves also feature popular dog sled embroidery. The reversible side features an Alaska map pattern. The blue ALASKA lettering is a unique color scheme, combined with the orange body. This piece was produced by "Kosho" at the request of the US military in the late 1950s and sold at the PX within the US military base in Alaska. At that time, artisans designed the patterns based on photos and postcards of Alaska. ＜VELVETEEN SOUVENIR JACKET＞ While many early souvenir jackets were reversible acetate, there were also variations at the time that used velveteen fabric with a brushed feel. Padding was added to enhance warmth, and the acetate on the reversible side was quilted to hold the padding in place.
