 In the movie "The Great Escape," where a star-studded cast gathered, McQueen's character stood out. His actions, which captivated the audience in breathtaking scenes, created a legend. Helping to shape the character of V. HILTS was his costume, which was meticulously crafted. Among them, the khaki trousers he modified himself, regardless of historical accuracy, are outstanding. This model is a reproduction based on thorough research, from its silhouette to the color tone of the fabric, and is an indispensable staple along with the A-2. The front features a button fly, like military chino pants. The buttons are urea buttons, inspired by vintage designs. The back pockets are single-welt pockets. This enhances the strength of the pockets. Clean hip area. Back pockets are single-welt pockets. Inside the waistband is a costume name reproduced from the actual costume name. Such faithful reproduction is a testament to Mr. Okamoto's love for McQueen. The fabric is cotton twill chino with a slight sheen and a finely woven texture.
