Steve McQueen, who excelled at playing battle-hardened military men in films, pursued realism in his military wear. Even in his private life, he owned propeller-driven aircraft and piloted them himself. During these flights, he often wore the Navy flight jacket, the G-1. The G-1 being released this time is based on the model McQueen favored, reproducing the MIL-J-7823D. This season, the body color has been brushed up to a darker tone.
