■DARTISAN STUDIO D'ARTISAN 45th Anniversary Limited Edition 13oz Ishikawadai Denim Jacket 2nd Type SP-089
Ishikawadai refers to the name of a spinning machine that spins yarn, and it is the oldest Japanese-made ring spinning machine still in operation, manufactured by Ishikawa Seisakusho in 1953. Compared to modern machines, its spinning speed is considerably slower, but its characteristic is that it finishes with a fluffy texture that brings out the natural feel of the material. Using this rare denim fabric, a second type of denim jacket was produced. This is a limited edition product commemorating the 45th anniversary year, and it comes with a special tote bag.  The name Studio D'Artisan, founded in 1979, means "artisan's workshop". At that time, the concept of making jeans, now called vintage replicas, hardly existed in the Japanese jeans market. It is a pioneering brand that established the foundation of manufacturing, pursuing the dream of reproducing the flavor of jeans themselves, in the shadow of efficiency aimed at mass production.
