 ＜Model: Height 175cm, Weight 62kg, Wearing size 32＞ These overalls appear to be a mix of specifications from Hawaiian workwear manufacturers and mainland American manufacturers. Made from a thick 12.5oz hickory stripe fabric, the back is a low-back type. The single front pocket shifted to the left and the shape of the fasteners are features commonly seen in overalls worn by plantation workers for a long period from the early days. ＜HAWAIIAN WORK WEAR＞ After Japanese immigrants arrived in Hawaii, the first place they were offered employment was the sugarcane plantations. Railroads had been laid there for a long time, serving as a means to transport harvested sugarcane to sugar mills and as a means of transport connecting their living bases and the plantations. SUN SURF, in unraveling the history of Hawaiian workwear, focused on "Hilo Railroad Company," a railway company that existed in the past.
