Since ancient times, many soldiers were stationed in Hawaii, so local workwear manufacturers and tailors also served as contractors supplying uniforms and combat uniforms to the soldiers. Leveraging this background, they developed work pants based on military trousers but with different fabrics. These were also loved by Hawaiian railroaders. ＜HAWAIIAN WORK WEAR＞ After Japanese immigrants came to Hawaii, the first place they worked was the sugarcane plantations.
