 This is a selvedge bandana made with fine indigo yarn, rope-dyed. While maintaining the feel of a cookie bandana, it incorporates traditional Japanese patterns and elevates them to a new level. The patterns are created using a technique called "discharge printing," which has been popular in Kyoto's dyeing culture for a long time. It features a unique texture that clearly shows the design while retaining the deep richness of the indigo itself.
