In the 1950s, Star of Hollywood released print shirts of exceptionally high artistic quality.
The brand is known for five masterpieces that are highly regarded worldwide, and this Shrunken Head (shrunken head pattern) was
also released under the brand name SIR GUY. The basic design is the same for both,
but the size and spacing of the motifs, the type of fabric, and the printing method differ, with the Star of Hollywood version being the older original.
Compared to the later-produced SIR GUY version, the Star of Hollywood version has slightly smaller motifs and narrower spacing between them.
The print is also discharge printing, not overprinting. The Star of Hollywood Shrunken Head is extremely rare,
and because it has never been featured in books, it was considered a legendary piece among collectors.
However, this season, the Star of Hollywood Shrunken Head, replicated based on the vintage original, is finally being released.
The shirt specifications include two types: a pullover shirt type, faithful to the original, and an open-collar shirt type.
In addition to the pale purple found in vintage pieces, vibrant yellow and red colorways are also available.
