It is an original fabric created so that only the kasuri pattern part made of chemical fiber yarn retains its color. By dyeing it with Kuromontsuki dye, it transforms into a moist texture, as if it contains oil. The black color pursued by Kyo Kuromontsuki, I believe it is not just a substantial black color, but the color of the spiritual power that disciplines the Japanese heart.
