The thick 15oz denim fabric, woven on valuable old shuttle looms, offers a sturdy feel and a dark, deep color. Because these jeans are dark in color, they take time to fade, but they develop distinct whiskers and abrasions. Also, because the fabric is not sanforized or skewed, shrinkage and twisting occur, similar to vintage jeans from the 1950s.
