The third installment of SCSC (SUGAR CANE Super "Denim" Collectibles). Started in 1975, Sugar Cane is
returning to the brand's roots for its 50th anniversary, releasing a new "Made in U.S.A." wartime model,
with production based in America, the birthplace of denim workwear. The denim fabric is produced in Japan,
recreating the rough fabric with strong unevenness due to the immature spinning technology of the time, using US cotton and based on the 1943 model.
Sewing is done at Sugar Cane's American factory. This time, instead of completely replicating a single vintage piece,
we have combined features from various wartime pieces that we have confirmed, regarding details such as patterns, parts, and stitching,
and added original elements to create a 1940's special model. A particularly noteworthy feature is the pocket lining. It reproduces the twill check lining
of a vintage jacket made by ROUGH WEAR Co. for their civilian label "ROUGH-IN" during the wartime period of the 1940s, used as flannel pockets.

A label launched with Yuichi Fukutomi of Sugar Cane at its center, bringing together denim specialists. Abbreviated as "SCSC".
In the 1st and 2nd collections, the "individuality" of super vintage deadstock items, now impossible to obtain, was reproduced.
Not only were the distinctive specialized parts of the time recreated, but all four types of denim fabrics produced during the wartime period were revived.
For this 3rd collection, commemorating the brand's 50th anniversary, Sugar Cane planned rare "Made in U.S.A." jeans at its American factory.
The special model combines attractive details from vintage wartime pieces with original elements.
