The fabric and specifications are the same as the 1947 model, using 14.25oz. denim. In addition to the fading of the denim fabric and puckering of the seams, the aging of the cotton stitching, leather patch, and metal parts also adds to its appeal.  SUGAR CANE has been consistently producing meticulously crafted button-down wear for many years. It is an established brand of vintage American casual wear under Toyo Enterprise, which also owns flight jacket and collectible Hawaiian shirt brands like Buzz Rickson's and Sun Surf.
