 ＜Model: Height 175cm, Weight 60kg, wearing size 29＞ To commemorate Toyo Enterprise's 55th anniversary, the "Made in U.S.A 1946 MODEL" was planned alongside "Edo Aizome Denim." This model was produced immediately after World War II, during the transition to the 1947 model. Based on a rare 1946 vintage item owned by Sugar Cane, the details from that era were reproduced in the USA, the home of jeans. After World War II, even though regulations were lifted, specifications did not return to normal rapidly. This model has a mix of wartime and postwar details in its fabric, parts, and stitching. Although the coin pocket area is reinforced with rivets and original buttons are used, the seam allowance is not folded and is left raw, and the back pockets have an uneven shape, inheriting details from the wartime period. The fabric for this model is made in Japan, with dedicated cotton and dyes sourced after analyzing vintage items. It features a strong twist with a 7x6.5 count warp and weft. Uneven yarn from US cotton is woven on power looms slowly and with more time than usual. The top button does not have anti-rust coating. The button tacks are a rare copper-plated type, and the sizes differ for the top button and fly buttons. The deerskin patch is hand-stamped with "Made in U.S.A". Concealed rivets also use different rivets than the 1947 model. The coin pocket rivets, which were revived after the war. The hem stitching finishes with a run-off. (If we hem the jeans, this design cannot be reproduced.) The pocket bags are made of a coarser twill, as seen during the wartime period. The off-center yoke stitching also follows the original vintage.  SUGAR CANE, which has been making meticulously crafted button-down wear for many years, is a long-established vintage American casual wear brand of Toyo Enterprise, which also owns flight jacket and collectible Hawaiian shirt brands such as Buzz Rickson's and Sun Surf.
