 ＜Model: Height 175cm, Weight 60kg, wearing size 30＞ These waist overalls were made in Sugar Cane's American factory, replicating the period from 1937 to 1941 when the rivets at both ends of the hip pockets switched from "post-rivets," which were attached to hip pockets, etc., to "concealed rivets." This particular 1937 model is a rare reproduction where the direction of the lap seam that joins the yoke and the body is reversed, and black thread is used for the stitching on the underside of the waistband. The concealed rivets, like those in other areas, are made of pre-war copper with the stamp centered and an "_ (underscore)" below the "o". While the back cinch and crotch rivets were omitted during the war, they still exist in models from this era. The fabric is 13oz selvedge denim woven with uneven #7 yarn on a shuttle loom. Following the vintage original, the selvedge uses two colors: red and pink. The silhouette is a slightly wide straight cut, and it can be worn as a set-up with a jacket made from the same denim fabric. ＜SUGAR CANE Made in U.S.A.＞ For us, the words "Made in USA" hold special meaning. SUGAR CANE has been meticulously creating button-down apparel for many years. It is a long-established brand of vintage American casual wear from Toyo Enterprises, which also owns flight jacket and collectible Hawaiian shirt brands such as Buzz Rickson's and Sun Surf.
