The Mister Freedom series was planned in collaboration with Sugar Cane by Christophe Loiron, owner of an LA select shop with many Hollywood celebrities as clients.

This chambray fabric features a selvedge edge and a high-density plain weave.
The design source is a 1950s French vintage shirt.
It features a design that fuses sports and workwear, with a straight body, side slits, and a single-panel back.


Born in Montpellier, Southern France, in 1966. Due to his father's work, he spent his childhood in Africa and then joined the French Navy after returning to France. In the 1990s, he moved to America, inspired by stars like Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, and Elvis Presley.
After working as a buyer for American Rag Cie and other stores, he opened his own shop, PLASTIC JESUS, in 1995. Then, in 2002, he opened a vintage store and studio, MISTER FREEDOM, in Hollywood. Designers from the fashion industry and Hollywood movie stylists visited to see his selection, and it quickly became a famous shop. He is now also active as a designer, and his designs, which reflect his deep knowledge of vintage, have many fans.
