A collaboration between Christophe Loiron, owner of 'Mister Freedom,' a vintage store and studio in Hollywood, and 'Sugar Cane,' which has been producing workwear with meticulous attention to detail for many years. This is a Rocketeer Jacket. Its name derives from early aviation research and rocket piloting conducted in California after the 1930s, and the jet propulsion technology still used by NASA today. The pattern borrows from vintage "gas station" jackets, which were also worn by rocket mechanics off-duty. Weight: 690g

SUGAR CANE is a long-established vintage American casual wear brand under Toyo Enterprise, which also owns flight jacket and collectible Hawaiian shirt brands such as Buzz Rickson's and Sun Surf, and has been producing button-down wear with meticulous attention to detail for many years.
