These jeans feature a thick silhouette inspired by the 1950s. They have a relaxed straight silhouette that retains the rugged and somewhat unrefined look of the 1950s, when jeans first began to gain popularity as a fashion item.
While offering room around the waist, the line that tapers down to the hem strongly reflects the classic 50s style, epitomized by the youth culture and movie stars of the era. They are sewn with 'core-spun thread,' which fades along with the red-selvedge denim. The leather patch is made from deerskin. Both the denim and the thread and leather patch will show aging over years of use, allowing you to enjoy their individual patinas.

Vintage Details
These jeans reproduce vintage details that covered for the lack of industrial products like sewing machines with the skill and ingenuity of craftsmen. Examples include the "V-stitch," which was born from the ingenuity of sewing workshops due to the underdeveloped sewing technology of the time, and the "hidden rivets" where exposed rivets for reinforcement were sewn to be covered by the back pocket fabric to prevent damage to equestrian equipment.

JUMBO DENIM
We use 14.5oz JUMBO DENIM with brown cotton for the weft threads. By using old-fashioned power looms and brown cotton weft threads, you can experience denim with the unevenness, earthiness, and rough, coarse texture of the time.
