This 10oz denim chore jacket is made using Samurai cotton to create #10 yarn with an uneven texture similar to the yarn of the Zero 17oz denim, which is then used for both the warp and weft threads. The denim has a strong, uneven texture from the tightly twisted yarn, and because it is made with special yarn that strongly exhibits the original texture of Samurai cotton, including fallen cotton and cotton nep, the uneven denim texture is distinctive despite being 10oz. The warp threads are indigo hank-dyed using skilled techniques. The weft threads are left undyed and unbleached to preserve the original color of the cotton.
