As the name suggests, these soft cotton pants, which absorb sweat and allow for easy movement, were often worn as a set, top and bottom. They were strictly specialized as training wear for exercise. In recent years, there has been an endless trend of incorporating the properties of this material—sweat absorption, flexibility, and a comfortable fit—into fashion.
