■SAMURAI JEANS 15oz Seigaiha Wide Straight Model S3000XX15oz-SH [New for Spring/Summer 2026]

We have created a new indigo denim with a moderate slub feel, inspired by the Seigaiha (blue ocean waves) pattern, which depicts calm waves spreading endlessly, resembling the texture of denim.
This is a 15-ounce denim slowly woven on an old-fashioned loom, using #5 equivalent rope-dyed indigo yarn with a particularly strong unevenness for the warp, and #8 indigo yarn with a darker, different dyeing method and concentration for the weft.
By using a slightly thinner yarn for the weft compared to the #5 warp, the slub texture and the bluish warp stand out. Since the fading speed of the warp and weft yarns differs, the darker indigo of the weft yarn will become more prominent with age, transforming the denim into a more distinctive texture.
