 ＜Model: Height 175 cm, Weight 60 kg, wearing size 29＞ Samurai's standard series has been renewed starting from the 2020 Autumn/Winter season. While inheriting the proud denim fabric and details, the silhouette has been further adjusted and reviewed. The paint stitching on the back pocket is a new design with an image of a soaring seagull, made in the same color as the body for a "Kagemusha" (shadow warrior) paint specification. The red tab has been removed, and a new "Samurai red letters on navy base" label will be attached to the left end of the right back pocket opening. ・Bushimimi 17oz Selvedge Denim ・Red Herringbone Slubby Fabric ・Iron Pine Tree Buttons ・Copper Coin-shaped Rivets ・Exclusive Leather Patch and Flasher ・New Woven Label ・Paint Stitching ・Slightly Wide Straight ＜Bushimimi 17oz Selvedge Denim＞ The yarn uses an unprecedented uneven No. 5 yarn for both warp and weft. Hard, coarse raw cotton is spun with a technique that produces more slubbiness (strong twist). It has a natural feel that was difficult to express with such a thick No. 5 yarn. The dyeing is done in a super-dark shade, one level darker than the deep color achievable with 100% indigo. The core white part of the yarn is made as large as possible to promote fading. Normally, it would be impossible to achieve this much slubbiness on both the front and back. Even if it were possible, the loom would break after weaving 2-3 meters. However, through extensive research with artisans to create slubbiness, we arrived at a feasible method. It is likely a texture that cannot be imitated elsewhere. Until now, there have been almost no heavy denims over 14oz that were particular about fading, but this has been made possible through the hands of skilled artisans in all processes of yarn, dyeing, and weaving. The selvedge part is a shiny (red lamé) selvedge, commonly known as "Bushimimi," which symbolizes the burning hot blood (soul) of the samurai! ＜Silhouette＞ Slightly Wide Straight  Founded in Osaka in 1998.
