 This is a special 18oz denim that allows rope dyeing by mixing indigo dye and natural indigo using a special method, which is usually limited to hand-dyeing skeins with "AI" (indigo). The yarn used is an original strong twisted hard slub yarn for the warp, and a special unique slub yarn blended with "Samurai Cotton" - Japanese cotton cultivated in Japan - for the weft. While the short fibers of Japanese cotton create slubs and a strong rough texture, giving it a wild appearance, at the same time, the color is a rich and beautiful shade unique to indigo that cannot be achieved with indigo alone. Because it is rope-dyed, you can expect strong fading similar to indigo denim, but compared to Samurai's standard indigo denim, you can enjoy a more gradual change.
